What will Happen with Nicky and His Radio Show?

Now that we know Westlife is getting back together, what will happen with Nicky on the radio? Even though there hasn’t been an official statement talking about Nicky’s future on 2fm, based on what he said on today’s show, there are no plans for him to leave The Nicky Byrne Show. It seems that, when the time comes, he’ll just be absent from the radio show for a few months.

Louis Walsh, Westlife’s manager, talked to The Irish Sun and said “Nicky is staying on TV and radio. Itโ€™s his job. Heโ€™s very good at it and heโ€™s going to keep doing it”. We’re very glad to hear this!

Meanwhile, Nicky’s co-host, Jenny Greene, shared with Evoke.ie that she is very happy for Nicky and the lads: “We knew it was going to be a big thing when we saw the reaction on social media, and how it blew up!”

Nicky To Host 2018 Xmas Ball With RTร‰ 2fm Presenters

The 4th 2fm Xmas Ball has been announced and Nicky will return to host the big event, along with the other RTร‰ 2fm presenters. Last year’s concert raised half a million Euro in aid of The ISPCC, and they plan to break their record this time around.

Headliner, Hozier, will be joined by Walking On Cars, Keywest, Wyvern Lingo, Chasing Abbey, Wild Youth and Brave Giant to perform live on the night at the 3Arena in Dublin.

Tickets are โ‚ฌ39.50 and they will go on sale at 9am this Wednesday, September 26th. You can purchase them at Ticketmaster outlets nationwide or online by clicking here.
